Run a Marathon limping...

It is like a tradition every spring to focus on magic band. Last years I participate the 6m Marathon of OH3AG. The objective of the Marathon is to work as many DXCC countries as possible between Saturday May 3rd, 2008 at 00.00 UTC and Sunday August 3rd, 2008 at 24.00 UTC on six meters band. I am not a big gun. So I have not any chance to win. In addition this year I had bad luck. My IC-7000 gave up its service. It burned the drive section twice and now is for a second time for repair. Very delicate fancy little machine. I would not dare to recommend it for any serious use. My good friend Spiros lent to me his FT857 to do the job. I thank him a lot for his generosity. Anyway it has a lot of fun to run a Marathon limping. Take a look to the results so far. I wish to all participants good luck!
